After the pandemic wiped out a season of hockey the UNYCHL is back and possibly stronger than ever. Twenty three programs (2 provisional ones hoping to make their mark) make up the Tier1 most of which have aspirations of a National title.
At the inaugural Fed Cup the UNYCHL had five programs participate who combined for a 9-4 record in the tournament before its unfortunate ending.
Rivalries were established in year one and with more leagues incoming the UNYCHL plans to make a greater impact across the college hockey world.
